Growth Manager

DIMO enables thousands of vehicle owners and operators to collect, use, and monetize the data their vehicles generate. We're building an open developer platform to transform the massive vehicle data and connected car market, and bootstrapping the supply and demand side with the $DIMO token. 
Our core team is made up of experienced IoT, automotive, mobility, and web3 engineers, designeers, and operators, and we are committed to building a distributed organization.
We are looking for a Growth Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive awareness of our platform and devise, implement, and execute strategies to acquire and retain users, and increase the value of their transactions on the platform over time. You’ll engage deeply with the community through Discord and other channels and work with the team to determine key pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities. As typical of startups, you’ll be willing to take on new challenges and execute, calling on the core team resources and DIMO community. 

What you will be doing:

  • Propose and execute new initiatives, campaigns, and strategies to attract prospects and convert leads as well as test new approaches while pinpointing issues that are hampering growth
  • Manage growth calendar around campaigns and product releases to ensure we drive the maximum amount of user conversion from every event
  • Ideate, implement, and measure experiments at every stage of the funnel and report on results to the team on a weekly basis
  • Optimize paid channels to maximize DIMO's marketing spend
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to continuously market DIMO's apps and services through thoughtful creative, content, and copywriting.
  • Analyze marketing data and user feedback (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to shape future marketing strategies
  • Drive critical product and strategy recommendations to other internal teams based on marketing results and community feedback

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related role in the startup space
  • Background in marketing and/or sales (big plus if you have delivered on a quota)
  • Fearlessness in the face of jobs you have not done before, topics you do not understand, and difficult tasks
  • Expertise in marketing, online strategies, user experience, and business development
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to leverage data, metrics, and trends to generate creative ideas and meaningful actions
  • Skilled at web optimization, sales generation, conversion analysis, and creating funnels
  • Knowledge of various growth-hacking tools, such as automation and campaign monitoring platforms
  • Creative problem-solving, coupled with strong communication skills

It'd be nice to find someone who also has:

  • Knowledge of mobility/connected vehicle/self driving space
  • Experience in cryptocurrency, consumer software, or financial services

We are a global, remote-friendly company. For those local to Detroit or New York, we have in-person office space for you to pull up a chair and work IRL. Team members can expect quarterly in-person events once individuals feel comfortable traveling again.
